Hacker School in NYC taking applications for next round

The Hacker School in New York City is taking applications for their next round of students. Hacker School is a free 3 month group training experience, working with other programmers four days a week. Co-founder Nicholas Bergson-Shilcock says:

We’re now taking applications for our next batch, and we’d love to have more women in the group. We’ve built Hacker School to be a positive, constructive environment for programmers to learn and grow. We strongly value free software and open source development, while rejecting the machismo, condescension and sexism that unfortunately exists in so much of the FOSS world.
