Grace Hopper Celebration registration now open, including open source code-a-thon

I am thrilled to let you know that registration for the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing (October 3–6, Baltimore, USA) is now open.

I am doubly excited about Grace Hopper Open Source Day and the Open Source sessions at the conference.

Code-a-thon for Humanity at the Grace Hopper Open Source Day

Join us for Grace Hopper Open Source Day on Saturday, October 6th. Building on the success of the previous years of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) events at the Grace Hopper Celebration, we have put together an entire day where you can learn, code, and contribute to humanitarian causes in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Beginners are welcome – there is no experience required.

Read over the list of available projects and sign up for Open Source Day. We’ll be spotlighting participating organizations in upcoming newsletters. Participation is limited to 200 attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. Join us to code, network, and make the world a better place!
