Haecksen (formerly the LinuxChix miniconference) was founded by in 2007 Mary Gardiner, who later co-founded the Ada Initiative. It has been run by women from the Australian and New Zealand open source communities at linux.conf.au every year since. This year Bianca Gibson and Robyn Willison have stepped up to the plate!
